Sign Language is an alternative mode of communication for the hearing-impaired individuals. Students who do not wish to undergo cochlear implantation or who do not satisfy the criteria for cochlear implantation are advised to learn sign language. The unit teaches Indian sign language to students. There is also an interpreter for sign language users and also sessions to learn are also available.
