Our institute is dedicated not only to delivering clinical services for individuals with Hearing, Language, and Speech disorders but also to fostering academic excellence. Offering a spectrum of courses, including a Diploma in Special Education (HI) established in 1987, the undergraduate program BASLP, inaugurated in 1993, and subsequent postgraduate courses such as M.Sc. Speech and Hearing (1998), M.Sc. (SLP) (2006), M.Sc. (Audiology) (2006), and Ph.D. in Speech and Hearing (2000), our curriculum holds recognition from the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) and affiliation with Bangalore University and Bangalore North University.
Dr.S. Chandrasekhar Institute of Speech and Hearing College has been granted permission to introduce two new courses for the upcoming academic year, 2024-25, namely, B.Sc. Psychology (Honors) and B.Sc. Rehabilitation Sciences, further expanding the educational horizon.

The Institute has a research wing known as Bangalore Speech and Hearing Research Foundation (BSHRF). It is an acclaimed hub for Ph.D. programs affiliated with both Bangalore North University and Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE). Propelled by a proficient teaching faculty, all holding doctorates, their commitment to ongoing research endeavours reflects a genuine ambition to elevate the institute into an Advanced Centre specializing in the realm of Speech and Hearing Impairment.
