Mothers of young hearing impaired (HI) children are trained here to acquire skill to facilitate speech, language and comprehension development in their HI children.
Overview
Started on March 1st 2007 with 5 children. The number of mothers joining the program increased and till date more than 500 mothers and their respective children got trained and are continuing their children’s education in various regular schools in and around Bangalore.
The Government of Karnataka has granted permission to start training programme through the order No. MME/152/PHP/2021 dated 17.09.2021 and 88/PHP/2022 dated 04.06.2022, for mothers of children with hearing impairment in the age group from zero to four years.
